Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jacqueline Humphries was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 81,900.00 (€ 75,331.13), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacqueline Humphries have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jacqueline Humphries wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 81.900,00 (€ 75.331,13) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacqueline Humphries auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 687.500,00 (€ 609.107,82).
