In September last year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Siren by Jacqueline Humphries. The »bidding war« ended at USD 302,400.00 (€ 309,107.64), 68% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jacqueline Humphries; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).

Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Siren von Jacqueline Humphries zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 302.400,00 (€ 309.107,64) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jacqueline Humphries; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 687.500,00 (€ 609.107,82).
