Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jack Goldstein was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 64,136.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jack Goldstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Goldstein wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 64.136,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
