The work Untitled #1 by Jack Goldstein was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,782.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Goldstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).

Die Arbeit Untitled #1 von Jack Goldstein kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.890,00 (€ 1.782,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
