Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2019 Phillips in London held the auction Edition Schellmann: Fifty Are Better Than One, which included the work Untitled #1; and #2 by Jack Goldstein. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,248.30), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Goldstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
