Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jack Goldstein was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 67,131.65), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jack Goldstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jack Goldstein wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 67.131,65) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
