Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Jack Goldstein could be acquired at Ketterer in Munich in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst auction, the work Untitled (tall blue red) changed hands for EUR 25,000.00 - failing to meet the pre-set estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jack Goldstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 782,500.00 (€ 601,460.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jack Goldstein konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Ketterer in München für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Kunst nach 1945 / Zeitgenössische Kunst wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (tall blue red) für EUR 25.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jack Goldstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 782.500,00 (€ 601.460,42).
