Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Stay by Iván Navarro was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2019. The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,392.95), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iván Navarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shortcut, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stay von Iván Navarro kam im Mai 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.392,95) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Iván Navarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shortcut beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58) versteigert wurde.
