Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Lamp Table (Blue-Red-White) by Iván Navarro for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,827.57). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iván Navarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lamp Table (Blue-Red-White) von Iván Navarro für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.827,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iván Navarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
