Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Iván Navarro could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Crawling changed hands for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,437.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iván Navarro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Iván Navarro konnte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Crawling für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.437,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iván Navarro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
