Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Isabel Bishop achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2010. In the The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams auction, the work Three works: Walking Figures; Seated Nude; and Pedicure sold for USD 1,250.00 (€ 939.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isabel Bishop achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nude by Stream in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 49,350.00 (€ 51,702.46).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Isabel Bishop erzielte im April 2010 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams wurde die Arbeit Three works: Walking Figures; Seated Nude; and Pedicure für USD 1.250,00 (€ 939,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isabel Bishop erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nude by Stream im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 49.350,00 (€ 51.702,46).
