Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work The Overtoom, Amsterdam, in summer, with the Kostverloren Wetering to the left and the Overtoomse Vaart to the right; and the Polderhuis by the Weteringpoort, Amsterdam, in winter, with the overhaal between the Boerenwetering and the Mennonietensloot by Isaac Ouwater for EUR 82,250.00. This price was achieved in the auction THE DR ANTON C.R. DREESMANN COLLECTION: DUTCH PICTURES & WOA at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the est Other works by Isaac Ouwater have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2003 by the work Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side at EUR 164,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Overtoom, Amsterdam, in summer, with the Kostverloren Wetering to the left and the Overtoomse Vaart to the right; and the Polderhuis by the Weteringpoort, Amsterdam, in winter, with the overhaal between the Boerenwetering and the Mennonietensloot von Isaac Ouwater für EUR 82.250,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion THE DR ANTON C.R. DREESMANN COLLECTION: DUTCH PICTURES & WOA bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 90.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Isaac Ouwater wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2003 die Arbeit Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side mit EUR 164.450,00.
