In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A View Of The Village Of Grosthuizen Near Avenhorn, South-West Of The Town Of Hoorn, With A Maid Milking A Cow In A Meadow, Boys Playing On The Road And A Horse And Carriage In The Near Distance by Isaac Ouwater. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Isaac Ouwater have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side in May 2003 with an auction result of EUR 164,450.00.

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View Of The Village Of Grosthuizen Near Avenhorn, South-West Of The Town Of Hoorn, With A Maid Milking A Cow In A Meadow, Boys Playing On The Road And A Horse And Carriage In The Near Distance von Isaac Ouwater zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Isaac Ouwater auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.450,00.
