Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of the Westerkerk seen from across the Keizersgracht, Amsterdam by Isaac Ouwater was sold in the Classic Art Evening Sale: Antiquity to 20th Century auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 139,427.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Isaac Ouwater have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2003 the work Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side was auctioned for EUR 164,450.00.

Die Arbeit View of the Westerkerk seen from across the Keizersgracht, Amsterdam von Isaac Ouwater wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Classic Art Evening Sale: Antiquity to 20th Century bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 139.427,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden.
