Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Isaac Ouwater could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS auction, the work A Marketplace In A Dutch Village changed hands for EUR 2,400.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Isaac Ouwater achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side in May 2003 with an auction result of EUR 164,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Isaac Ouwater konnte im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES AND DRAWINGS wechselte die Arbeit A Marketplace In A Dutch Village für EUR 2.400,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Isaac Ouwater erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amsterdam: The 't Spaarne canal in Slooterdijk with the ferry office and the tollgate on the left hand side im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 164.450,00.
