Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Argos - 1989 by Igor Mitoraj was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,840.00 23% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Igor Mitoraj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Argos - 1989 von Igor Mitoraj wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.840,00 und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
