This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ian Davenport achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,447.82).
