The work Uplift, from The Help Portfolio by Ian Davenport was worth GBP 4,445.00 (€ 4,445.00) to a buyer in September this year. This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ian Davenport achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,447.82).

Die Arbeit Uplift, from The Help Portfolio von Ian Davenport war einem Käufer im September diesen Jahres GBP 4.445,00 (€ 4.445,00) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ian Davenport erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 95.447,82).
