Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British Art, which included the work Puddle Painting: Jazz 147 x 123.3 cm. (57 7/8 x 48 1/2 in.) (unframed) by Ian Davenport. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,404.47), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ian Davenport have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,447.82) in March 2021 for the work Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Puddle Painting: Jazz 147 x 123.3 cm. (57 7/8 x 48 1/2 in.) (unframed) von Ian Davenport zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.404,47) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Ian Davenport haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 95.447,82) im März 2021 für die Arbeit Poured Lines: Dark Cobalt Study beobachtet.
