Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sitzender weiblicher Akt vor Spiegel by Heinrich Campendonk was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 176,400.00 (€ 164,383.56), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Campendonk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kuh mit Kalb in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,688,000.00 (€ 2,482,669.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sitzender weiblicher Akt vor Spiegel von Heinrich Campendonk wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 164.383,56) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Campendonk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kuh mit Kalb im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.688.000,00 (€ 2.482.669,35).
