Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Angler und Akt in Landschaft by Heinrich Campendonk was auctioned at Christies in London in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 126,000.00 (€ 149,387.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Heinrich Campendonk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Kuh mit Kalb in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,688,000.00 (€ 2,482,669.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Angler und Akt in Landschaft von Heinrich Campendonk kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 126.000,00 (€ 149.387,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Heinrich Campendonk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Kuh mit Kalb im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.688.000,00 (€ 2.482.669,35).
