Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Starburst Jazzy by Harmony Korine was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 35,280.00 (€ 30,043.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harmony Korine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Clif Note Check, which sold at auction in February 2017 for USD 112,500.00 (€ 105,952.16).
