Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Windswept Eucalyptus by Gustave Baumann was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of USD 9,600.00 (€ 9,084.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Baumann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Processional, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 28,050.00 (€ 25,800.22).
