Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Velorio by Gustave Baumann was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,456.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Baumann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Processional in March this year with an auction result of USD 28,050.00 (€ 25,800.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El Velorio von Gustave Baumann kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.456,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Baumann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Processional im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.050,00 (€ 25.800,22).
