Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Cordova Plaza by Gustave Baumann. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,580.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Baumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Processional in March this year with an auction result of USD 28,050.00 (€ 25,800.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cordova Plaza von Gustave Baumann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.580,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Baumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Processional im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.050,00 (€ 25.800,22).
