This artwork by Gustave Baumann achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Church Rancho de Taos sold for USD 10,837.50 (€ 9,968.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Baumann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Processional, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 28,050.00 (€ 25,800.22).

In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Church Rancho de Taos für USD 10.837,50 (€ 9.968,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustave Baumann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Processional beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 28.050,00 (€ 25.800,22) versteigert wurde.
