It achieved a price of USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,554.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Baumann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Processional, which sold at auction in March this year for USD 28,050.00 (€ 25,800.22).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.554,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustave Baumann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Processional beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für USD 28.050,00 (€ 25.800,22) versteigert wurde.
