In March 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included this untitled work by Guillermo Kuitca. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,268.02) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Kuitca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillermo Kuitca zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.268,02) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
