Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December last year Christies held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work Hold me tight by Guillermo Kuitca. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 23,940.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Kuitca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hold me tight von Guillermo Kuitca zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 23.940,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
