Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included this untitled work by Guillermo Kuitca. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,320.00 (€ 18,690.21). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Kuitca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillermo Kuitca zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.320,00 (€ 18.690,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
