Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Guillermo Kuitca was auctioned at Christies in New York in September this year. The price achieved of USD 94,500.00 (€ 89,285.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guillermo Kuitca have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Guillermo Kuitca kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 89.285,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
