Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Guillermo Kuitca could be acquired at Phillips in London in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,224.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guillermo Kuitca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diarios (2000-2005) in November last year with an auction result of USD 567,000.00 (€ 549,258.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Guillermo Kuitca konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.224,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guillermo Kuitca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diarios (2000-2005) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 567.000,00 (€ 549.258,94).
