The work Café Müller by Guglielmo Castelli was auctioned at Phillips in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 38,100.00 (€ 44,341.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 52%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Castelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trofallassi, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 95,317.50).

Die Arbeit Café Müller von Guglielmo Castelli kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 38.100,00 (€ 44.341,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 52%. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Castelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trofallassi beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 95.317,50) versteigert wurde.
