This artwork by Guglielmo Castelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June this year. In the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction, the work Trofallassi sold for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 95,317.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. This high result makes Trofallassi the most expensive artwork by Guglielmo Castelli that we have observed at auctions so far.
