Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in Brussels held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Armored Scarve by Guglielmo Castelli. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,640.00 (€ 20,255.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guglielmo Castelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trofallassi in June this year with an auction result of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 95,317.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in Brüssel die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Armored Scarve von Guglielmo Castelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.640,00 (€ 20.255,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guglielmo Castelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trofallassi im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 95.317,50).
