Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Motherland by Guglielmo Castelli was auctioned at Phillips in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 25,400.00 (€ 29,166.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guglielmo Castelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trofallassi, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 81,900.00 (€ 95,317.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Motherland von Guglielmo Castelli kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.400,00 (€ 29.166,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Guglielmo Castelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Trofallassi beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 81.900,00 (€ 95.317,50) versteigert wurde.
