The work First Approach by Gordon Matta-Clark was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,079.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Gordon Matta-Clark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pier 52 ( # 4) in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 131,000.00 (€ 145,937.97).

Die Arbeit First Approach von Gordon Matta-Clark kam im Juni 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.079,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gordon Matta-Clark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pier 52 ( # 4) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.000,00 (€ 145.937,97).
