Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contadinella con anfora by Giovanni Panza was auctioned at Christies in Rome in December 2003. The price achieved of EUR 1,612.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Panza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'arrivo dei pescatori in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 8,575,000.00 (€ 7,707.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contadinella con anfora von Giovanni Panza kam im Dezember 2003 bei Christies in Rom zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.612,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Panza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'arrivo dei pescatori im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 8.575.000,00 (€ 7.707,00).
