Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Musica Malinconica by Giovanni Panza for EUR 992.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO at Christies in Rome and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,300.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Panza have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'arrivo dei pescatori in December 2001 with an auction result of ITL 8,575,000.00 (€ 7,707.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Musica Malinconica von Giovanni Panza für EUR 992,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO bei Christies in Rom erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.300,00 – 1.800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Panza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'arrivo dei pescatori im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 8.575.000,00 (€ 7.707,00).
