In December 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work L'Album Dei Ricordi; Autoritratto by Giovanni Panza. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Giovanni Panza have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2001 the work L'arrivo dei pescatori was auctioned for ITL 8,575,000.00 (€ 7,707.00).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Album Dei Ricordi; Autoritratto von Giovanni Panza zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Panza konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2001 die Arbeit L'arrivo dei pescatori für ITL 8.575.000,00 (€ 7.707,00) versteigert.
