Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Eve by Georges Barbier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,159.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Barbier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ida Rubinstein and Vaslav Nijinsky in Scheherazade in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 107,100.00 (€ 119,640.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eve von Georges Barbier kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.159,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Barbier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ida Rubinstein and Vaslav Nijinsky in Scheherazade im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 107.100,00 (€ 119.640,25).
