However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry George Todd - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grapes, pears, apples, peaches, plums, roses, a bronze tazza, a bird's nest and a glass dome containing red finches, on a wooden shelf, which sold at auction in June 2010 for GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,816.67).
