Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Mother and Child); Head by Geoffrey Clarke was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in April 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 828.75 (€ 953.30), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geoffrey Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,862.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mother and Child); Head von Geoffrey Clarke wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 828,75 (€ 953,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geoffrey Clarke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.862,46).
