Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Path by Geoffrey Clarke was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,202.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Geoffrey Clarke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,862.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Path von Geoffrey Clarke kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.202,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Geoffrey Clarke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Man im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.862,46).
