Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work "The Gauntlet Flung Down" by Gardar Eide Einarsson for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 780.37). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gardar Eide Einarsson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greetings to Thieves, Male and Female in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "The Gauntlet Flung Down" von Gardar Eide Einarsson für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 780,37) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gardar Eide Einarsson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greetings to Thieves, Male and Female im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
