Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The White Album (Bone Black) by Gardar Eide Einarsson was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 12 - in April this year. The price achieved of GBP 3,556.00 (€ 4,052.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gardar Eide Einarsson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greetings to Thieves, Male and Female in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,344.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The White Album (Bone Black) von Gardar Eide Einarsson wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in 12 - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.556,00 (€ 4.052,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gardar Eide Einarsson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greetings to Thieves, Male and Female im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.344,97).
