The work Codename Aerosol by Futura 2000 was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,699.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Futura 2000 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November last year for USD 302,400.00 (€ 292,938.10).

Die Arbeit Codename Aerosol von Futura 2000 kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.699,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Futura 2000 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für USD 302.400,00 (€ 292.938,10) versteigert wurde.
