Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A merry company, smoking and drinking in a sunlit interior by Fritz Wagner was sold in the European Noble and Private Collections auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,250.00. Admittedly, works by Fritz Wagner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Literary Gathering in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,120.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A merry company, smoking and drinking in a sunlit interior von Fritz Wagner wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fritz Wagner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Literary Gathering im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.120,19).
