This artwork by Fritz Wagner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2010. In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work A musical interlude sold for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,049.97) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fritz Wagner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A Literary Gathering sold at auction in June 2005 with the realized price of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,120.19).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fritz Wagner erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit A musical interlude für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.049,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fritz Wagner; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A Literary Gathering im Juni 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.120,19).
