Sold at the upper estimate price
In May 2013 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work An Interior With Men Conversing by Fritz Wagner. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fritz Wagner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Literary Gathering in June 2005 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,120.19).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Interior With Men Conversing von Fritz Wagner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fritz Wagner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Literary Gathering im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.600,00 (€ 23.120,19).
