Artwork auctioned at five times the pre-set estimate
When the work Bogert, the big sleep by Friedemann Hahn was auctioned at VAN HAM in June 2013, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 1,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than five times as high at EUR 5,805.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Friedemann Hahn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot „Claude Monet, Giverny um 1920“ sold at auction in June 2018 with the realized price of EUR 6,250.00.
Kunstwerk zum Fünffachen des Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Bogert, the big sleep von Friedemann Hahn im Juni 2013 bei VAN HAM versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 1.000,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 5.805,00 mehr als fünfmal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Friedemann Hahn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit „Claude Monet, Giverny um 1920“ im Juni 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.250,00.
